About SAT Exam: SAT Stands for Scholastic Aptitude Test. It is a paper-based standardized widely used for college admissions in the United States. The SAT  Exam is offered 7 times a year in the United States i.e. in October, November, December, January and March (or April, alternating), May and June. New SAT Syllabus 2017-2018:

Generally, SAT is of 2 types. One is SAT Reasoning Test and other one is SAT subjects test. Both the SAT test patterns follow different formats to evaluate student knowledge. Candidates may either take SAT Reasoning Test or SAT Subject Tests as given dates. Follow New SAT syllabus 2017-18 for Reasoning and Subjects Test.

Reasoning Syllabus Of SAT I

SAT I Reasoning Test consists of three sub-sections which are as follows: Also Check SAT Eligibility
  1. Sections of Critical Reading
  • Reading comprehension of 25 minutes (passages followed by questions to be answered)
  • Sentence completions of 25 minutes (filling in the blanks with appropriate word)
  • Paragraph-length critical reading 20 minutes.
  1. Math Section
There are three sections in SAT Math. They are
  • Algebra and functions of 25 minutes
  • Geometry Statistics of 20 minutes
  • Probability and Data analysis of 20 minutes
There will be 54 questions in all. 44 of them are multiple-choice. For the remaining 10 questions, you will have to find answers on your own.

The SAT writing has three sections:
Essay section of 25 minutes,
Multiple choice sections lasting 25 minutes and 10 minutes.

Exam Duration of SAT 1:

The SAT Reasoning Test is of  3 hours and 45 minutes, very test last nearly 25 minutes.

SAT II Subject Test Syllabus:

SAT II Subject Tests measure your knowledge and skills in particular subject areas. The SAT Subject Tests are the only national admissions tests that give you chance to show hold of content in the specific subjects, such as English, history, mathematics, science, foreign languages and various other subjects.
Other Subjects like Literature, Biology/EM, German, Italian, U.S. History, Chemistry, German with Listening, Latin, World History, Physics, Spanish, Chinese with Listening, Math Level 1, French, Spanish with Listening, Japanese with Listening, Math Level 2, French with Listening, Modern Hebrew, Korean with Listening

Exam Duration of SAT 2:

All SAT Subject Tests are 1 hr, multiple choice tests.
